Custom Bottle that’s Right on ‘Cue

Rufus Teague’s delicious barbecue sauce “makes stuff gooder,” and the brand knew a custom bottle design could make things even better. When other brands began copying their packaging, RufusTeague partnered with the team at Studio One Eleven to create a new, unique design that would stand out from the rest. Our industrial designers wanted to create something premium and innovative that honors the brand’s rustic roots. We borrowed cues from vintage moonshine bottles and bootleg-era spirits to create a sense of nostalgia that’s at the heart of the brand. A sleek flask-style glass bottle silhouette is embellished with a highly decorative hand-drawn diamond pattern at the shoulder to create a truly one-of-a-kind design. The large neck makes it easier to pour the deliciously thick sauce, while a “Make Stuff Gooder” embossment on the front of the bottle reinforces the brand’s legacy of darn good barbecue sauce.
