A Match Made in Hip-Hop Heaven
STILL G.I.N by Dre & Snoop is a premium gin that extends the iconic hip hop duo’s artistry from songs to spirits. Dre and Snoop partnered with renowned industrial designer, creative director, and musician Ini Archibong to design a bespoke bottle that reflects the craftsmanship of the gin and the artistic flair of its creators. His vision was a unique, hand-crafted, irregularly textured black glass bottle with a luxurious feel and impactful wow factor.
Transforming this ambitious vision into a tangible product that could be manufactured at scale was no small feat, but Berlin Packaging was up for the challenge. The Studio One Eleven team took a hand-blown prototype and engineered it to meet precise manufacturing standards while ensuring the artistic elements remained intact. We found a partner capable of producing the unique texture in black glass, a material notoriously difficult to produce and available from only a few manufacturers worldwide.
The designers also created a custom cork closure that fits the bottle perfectly, accommodates the fill temperature of the product, and maintains the packaging’s integrity. The final design is a stunning masterpiece that meets the high-profile customers’ high standards and creative vision…all developed in just two months to meet the product launch timeline.
