Design Celebrating Old and New
Old Monroe is a grain-to-glass distillery nestled on an eighth-generation family farm in Monroe County, Illinois. Their spirits are crafted from grains grown on their land using traditional distilling methods and historic blending techniques. When the company wanted to update its branding to better reflect its heritage and values, they partnered with the Studio’s brand design team. The Studio’s graphic designers created a modern vintage aesthetic that feels premium and sophisticated. The black, bronze, and beige color palette has a timeless elegance that reflects the brand's history dating back to the 1940s. A bold brandmark acts as a focal point for the label, incorporating a simple grain icon that speaks to the homegrown ingredients used to make the whiskey. Ornate linework in the logo and information panel represents the craftsmanship that goes into making the premium spirits.
