Muff Liquor

Packaging in 3D

In the early part of the 20th century, Philip McClenaghan began experimenting with the potatoes grown on his land in Muff County, Ireland. He started making high-quality spirits born of the land and crafted by hand, creating his own recipe and distillation process. Today, his granddaughter Laura continues his legacy with Muff Liquor Company.

The company collaborated with Studio One Eleven to create custom packaging that celebrates its storied history. The jug-style glass bottle is reminiscent of old Irish jars and medicinal containers that were popular when Philip first started making and sharing his concoctions. Custom embossments speak to the brand’s Irish heritage and continued traditions. The bottle is adorned with a special decal housing the brand mark that is raised from the glass with a 3-dimensional treatment that adds confidence and improved shelf appeal. A wooden closure and handmade torn paper label add a sense of nostalgia and history.
