Once in a Decade Design
A special limited release to celebrate a decade of Jimmy Red, the Bottled-in-Bond Jimmy Red Bourbon is one of the finest examples of single-farm, single-grain bourbon produced since Prohibition. The brand wanted an extraordinary package to complement this extraordinary bourbon, so they turned to their partners at Studio One Eleven.
The industrial design team created a custom 750mL ceramic bottle that pays homage to the brand’s original special release of Jimmy Red Straight Bourbon Whiskey, which was first packaged in a stoneware bottle. The designers included an embossed emblem that reflects the rich brand heritage, and the bottle is topped with a symbolic red glaze that represents the bourbon’s distinctive deep red corn color. Everything is hand-crafted - from attaching the stylized handle to applying the glaze - and the Studio team worked extensively with the manufacturer to ensure this complex package was executed perfectly.
